New Vista Guide "Not Quite Ready"

With all the publicity surrounding the delayed Vista OS, Microsoft can't be happy about what happened yesterday. A 313-page Vista guide was posted to a blog for all the world to see, but a few hours later, Microsoft asked that it be removed.

Fred Pullen runs the Microsoft blog and had this to say about the incident: "Although we had permission from one of its sponsors to post the Windows Vista Product Guide to the TS2 Community Site, it isn’t quite ready for public consumption so I was asked to remove the link."

The one revealing portion of the guide was how it was packaged – in XPS, Microsoft's new alternative to Adobe. With all the delays at least Microsoft's Vista is staying in the minds of the people, even if it is because of mistakes.

Learn more about the problem, who does get a copy, and the expectations for the new Microsoft OS is the article, Microsoft Posts, Then Pulls 'Not Quite Ready' Vista Guide (link above).
