IT Marketing: Your Elevator Pitch

You've probably heard of the elevator speech before. You know, the speech you should always have prepared so that if you meet someone in an elevator on the 20th floor, they should know about your company and why they should work with you by the time you get to the bottom floor.

Your elevator speech should be second nature to you. Practice it with your coworkers or spouse and keep it written on an index card that you can review before meetings so that you are always prepared to sell yourself and your company.

Eventually, you'll get tired of selling your elevator speech, but every time you say it, your prospect should feel the same energy and enthusiasm that you gave the first time. Learn more about creating your own elevator speech in the complete article (link above).
