IBM Partners Fueled Big Growth

Murray Mitchell, IBM’s BCS partner and global leader for SMB, announced that the company plans to partner more closely with solutions providers who have helped increase the company's sells. The initiative discussed was proposed and implemented at last year's Partnerworld.

At this year's PartnerWorld, Mitchell said, "We grew our piece of the midmarket business over 20 percent last year. “Without using the business partners, it would have been in the low single digits. Last year, 15 percent of all the work we did was attributable to business partner skills and resources. And this year, we hope it will be 30 percent."

Partners also seem to be satisfied. Although most agree that there are some improvements needed, partners are satisfied that IBM is listening to them and preparing to meet their needs. Learn more about the news at IBM's PartnerWorld in the complete article (link above).
