Networking is essential to the success of your business. As an entrepreneur you have two options: you can join an existing network, most likely a trade organization or you can start your own small business network.

If you do want to start your own network, you probably want to take the time to visit other networking events first so that you will know what people are looking for in a group. Then, you will want to find other local computer consultants and small business professionals and invite them to join your group.

Online Networking

Some of us simply don't have the time to go meet in person. In this case, you may want to start a virtual small business network. Then, if you are sharing ideas with people in your profession, they are not your competitors. Plus, you will be gaining contacts all over the world with fresh ideas that you can use in your business.
