I know many of you are Moodlers. You either maintain your own moodle installation or maybe you just have your own class. You know, then, that it’s tough finding answers to questions. Yes, there’s the moodle.org site, but it’s not the best in spite of its efforts.

Enter http://moodlemeet.ning.com – a social networking site (YIKES!!!) for moodlers.

Started by Laurie Korte from Northbrook, IL., this site is trying to get a foothold with the MANY moodlers around the world so that we can find answers to our questions and to get ideas for creative uses of the tools.

So, as soon as you can, check it out.

Windows XP Tip 11 shows you how to change the background colour of the XP Logon screen... This tip shows you how to add a Windows XP Logon Wallpaper option...

This could be your favourite image or picture as long as it is a .bmp or .jpg

To Add A Windows XP Logon Wallpaper...
1) Navigate to:
HKEY USERS\Control Panel\Desktop
2) Double click the wallpaper value, and type in the full path of your image and the filename.
3) To tile the image set "TileWallPaper" to 1
4) To Stretch the wallpaper set "WallPaperStyle" to 2
5) Close the registry editor and the changes will take place when you Log off.

IMPORTANT: This procedure contains information about modifying the registry. Before you modify the registry, make sure to back it up and make sure that you understand how to restore the registry if a problem occurs.
